Howdy!

Let me introduce myself a little bit. My name is Hayden Ballard, and I'm from Northern Arizona. I'm a 21 year old college student pursuing, right now, an associate degree in generals, but plan on soon transffering to a university to get my Bachelors degree in Natural Resources, and possiblly in Journalism/Communications as well.

HubPages is really the first time, outside of school, that I have really tried my hand at creative writing or freelance work, but I really enjoy it, and so hope to make a go of it. I have a lot of very different, and varied interests that come from my background. I hope to include these, in one way or another, into my posts. Hopefully to keep things as interesting to as many people as I can.

Some of these include: Travel, (I've lived in 4 different states, and visited 13.) Politics (I do lean towards the right wing a little more. Who am I kidding, I'm pretty conservative.) Sports (I played Football and Baseball in High School, along with a little Basketball. Although I enjoy watching almost all sports.) Rodeo (I competed at High School and College levels. Rodeo is a sport to, but in a league of its own.) Ranching, (my family's always been involved in the industry.) I've also been involved in one way or another with Farming, Life-guarding, Boy Scouts, Lineman work, Saw-mill work, Operating Equipment, Writing, Dude Ranching, Automotive, very involved with my Religion, Family, Natural Resources, Music (Guitar, Singing, Piano, and Songwriting), and so many other interests and activities.

At any rate, I don't mention these things to brag by any stretch of the imagination. I only say these, because I hope to incorporate some, if not all of these things, into my writing, to provide useful articles to a wide audience. So keep reading, and hope you enjoy!
